SOMESING signed an agreement with ‘Hello Apollo’, to expand its offline business.
SOMESING, a blockchain-based social mobile karaoke platform, said it has signed a strategic business agreement with Hello Apollo, which operates the Kids YouTube Studio, to expand its offline business.
Jin Ju-Young, CEO of Hello Apollo, said, “Recently, many children are choosing “YouTuber” as their future dream job, as what they like and enjoy on their own has become the standard for their jobs. In line with this trend, Hello Apollo opened a Kids YouTube studio called ‘Play In the Box’, which embodies the actual broadcasting studio at the children’s eye level, creating an environment where children can experience and enjoy themselves beyond their creativity and interest in YouTube videos.
As for the business agreement with SOMESING, Jin said, “SOMESING is a social karaoke app platform developed based on the best sound quality and technical skills among its peer services. I was usually watching a variety of music-based contents such as musical instrument performance, dance and self-composed rap that are full of personality using MRs from the platform and cover song contents created by SOMESING.
In particular, after hearing the explanation of SOMESING’s offline business solution, which was adopted by JYP’s second ‘SOUL CUP’ branch opened at Jamsil Lotte Mall in mid-May, I thought that Hello Apollo would be able to provide a more interesting experience to kids YouTubers if SOMESING’s solution is integrated into Play In the Box”
Kim Heui-Bae, CEO of SOMESING, said, “As a mobile-based karaoke service, and we are confident that the sound quality and effects, accurate sync control, and the high-quality video that the karaoke app platform should be equipped with, SOMESING is the best compared to other apps.
While we were looking for ways to utilize SOMESING’s technology in offline-related businesses using the solutions that SOMESING supplied to JYP audition studio, we are pleased to sign a business agreement with Hello Apollo, which runs the Kids YouTube Studio, to expand offline business, and we expect that many YouTuber dreamers will be able to use SOMESING in the future to create various contents.”
Meanwhile, a SOMESING official said, “Since the recent COVID-19’s global pandemic, the number of daily registered users of SOMESING has increased by up to six times compared to the previous average, and about 3,000 contents are currently being created and 1,200 of them are being shared on the platform,” expressing positive expectations for the continued growth of platforms geared to the spread of ‘Untact’ trends in the future.
