An official of SOMESING, Global Social Karaoke DApp, announced it has signed a business partnership with Danal FinTech Co., a virtual asset payment service subsidiary of Danal, a company specializing in integrated payment business, to expand its blockchain business.

An official of SOMESING said, “Through this agreement, SOMESING and PayProtocol plan to cooperate in various ways to expand blockchain utilization in real life, including building payment services using virtual assets online and offline”.

Paycoin (PCI), issued by PayProtocol, Danal FinTech’s payment platform, is currently available to use not only at 7-Eleven, CU and Mini Stop convenience stores nationwide, but also at real life-friendly franchises such as Domino Pizza, BBQ Chicken, KFC, and Dalkomm Coffee, SSG PAY, Kyobo Bookstore, Lion Cheeseball Adventure and Item Mania.

In addition, Paycoin (PCI) was recently registered by VQF-SRO, Switzerland’s Self Blockchain Regulatory Organization, in recognition of the stability of technology and the legality of its business, and based on this, plans to further accelerate its advance into overseas services.

Kim Heui Bae, CEO of SOMESING, said, “If SOMESING’s collaboration with Paycoin makes SOMESING Token(SSX), acquired by users as rewards for the content created within the app, available at various merchants affiliated with Paycoin, it means a lot in expanding the use of SSX.

“In addition to expanding usability in Korea, Paycoin’s efforts to expand its global services are expected to have a good synergy effect with SOMESING, which is seeking to make inroads into the global market through K-POP”, Mr. Kim said.

“This collaboration with SOMESING is very meaningful in terms of expanding the base of virtual assets,” said Hwang Yong Taek, CEO of Danal. “We will push ahead with various businesses that will allow customers to become more familiar with virtual assets in the future.” Mr. Hwang added.
