SOMESING, a Klaytn mainnet-based BApp, announced that it will use its mobile karaoke platform to carry out a special project that includes the selection of OST singers from the public and the production, promotion and distribution of music.
To that end, SOMESING signed a partnership agreement with Dasan Books-Knock Down Entertainment and Romantic Panda.C.
DASAN Books, which has grown to become the top 10 publishers in Korea since its establishment in 2004, said it has IPs for various novels and webtoons, including the popular web novel ‘The Stairway of Time’, and began producing dramas based on the original novel ‘Stairway of Time’ in August.
Knock Down Entertainment is preparing to become a global cultural content company with a group of young artists, including Asian beatbox champion “Hiss” and singer-songwriter “Yelai.”
In particular, the production team “The POSITIVE” (SINZO, Clayheart, Hiss, Hayan) has established a solid network with talented musicians in various fields, producing high-quality music from K-Pop, HipHop, Electronic to Ballad, Acoustic and Beatbox.
Romantic Panda.C is a company specialized in story planning, and Joo Chan-ok, a writer who wrote many famous dramas, is in charge of the total creator management, and plans and develops various dramas, web novels, musicals and concerts.
Currently, the story is being prepared to produce a drama based on a famous webtoon, and it has signed contracts with a number of major drama production companies to plan and develop the play.
Knock Down Entertainment will be in charge of producing songs for the popular drama OST based on original novels whose IP belongs to Dasan Books, and singers who will participate in music production will be hired among the public who are recruited/selected via SOMESING’s mobile platform, not the existing artists. Finally, the promotion and distribution of new OST songs and artists will be carried out by the 4 companies with expertise and extensive experience in the field.
