Top-tier artists representing South Korea such as Insooni, Yoon Do-Hyun, Baek Z-Young, Yoon Mi-Rae, Jinseong, Gangjin, Tiger JK, Eunha (GFriend), SinB (GFriend), Norazo, Lim Jeong-hee, Gaho, Na Tae-Joo, Bizzy, and BIBI will also join the event to spread their good influence toward their fans.

Participating artists will post their duet invitation songs on SOMESING, and anyone can access SOMESING and sing a duet with artists and post duet cover song content on the app.

During the event, KLAY (Klaytn’s Digital Asset) will be accumulated as much as the number of songs posted on SOMESING after a duet with artists. The total accumulated KLAY will be donated to the underprivileged and children in Korea who are suffering from COVID-19 through Good Neighbors(www.goodneighbors.kr) after the event.

Kim Heui-Bae, a CEO of SOMESING, said, “We’ve been thinking about events that can bring joy to the people who have been suffering from COVID-19 using SOMESING service, and a lot of legendary artists in Korea have willingly decided to participate in the event to spread a good influence, and SOMESING was able to host [Singing@Home] event thanks to lots of support from outside partners.”

Kim also added, “Through ‘music’ that can encompass gender and generation, I hope many people will comfort their tired hearts during the event and show loves to those suffering from COVID-19. I also want to express our deep gratitude to Klaytn officials who willingly decided to cooperate in the event and to SOMESING’s partner companies for their sponsorship.”

Jason Han, a CEO of Ground X, said, “SOMESING is a service that has adopted KLAY, Klaytn’s digital asset so that it can be used in the service”.

“I am pleased to be part of this special project with a good purpose that KLAY can be donated to those suffering from COVID-19 while KLAY is also used to support the creators on the SOMESING platform.” he also added.

The event will run for four weeks from September 23 to October 20, with participants to be given a variety of prizes, including signed CDs of participating artists, through a lucky draw.

In addition, participants of the event will be given an official donation certification card issued in NFT method through the Klaytn’s blockchain network, which can be stored in Klip, a digital asset wallet within KakaoTalk.

Details on how to participate in the “Singing@Home” festival can be found in the notification page in SOMESING app, while SOMESING can be downloaded through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
